Imphal, April 08 2009:
The GP Women's College Students' Union has also decried the assault on the MUSU president and the ECHO editor by DESAM activists on April 3 as an extreme and unacceptable act.
A press release issued by the students' union asserted that the matter became an issue after DESAM activists attacked MUSU office in a manner more akin to the terrorist attack at the Parliament although the matter could be have been settled through formal dialogue.
It further appealed to all student organisations to work out an amicable solution in the interest of the student community.
