The NSCN (K) paraded an arrested member of the Zeliangrong Revolutionary Nat-ional Front (ZRNF) in front of mediapersons today and has strongly warned all not to extend monetary assistance to ZRNF.
The arrested ZRNF activist is identified as Lunglitngam-pou alias Aboi Phaomei of Langol Laimanai.
He is said to have joined ZRNF through its vice president identified as one Chapam.
Addressing mediapersons somewhere in Senapati district today spokesperson of Zeliangrong Region of NSCN (K) said anyone who was found extending monetary assistance to ZRNF would be awarded capital punishment.
Appealing to all the underground outfits against extending any form of support or co-operation to ZRNF, the spokesman said it would hinder in the ongoing operation of the NSCN (K).
NSCN (K) is not in favour floating any new outfit at this juncture, the spokespersons added.
As per the principle of the party, the arrested ZRNF activist should have been given capital punishment.
But it has not been carried out in consideration of his family members and the fervent appeals made various NGOs, Zeliangrong Union, Zeliangrong Youth Front (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) against causing problem in the ongoing process of making peace zone, the spokesperson said, adding that NSCN (K) is all for the peace zone process.
Speaking to mediapersons, Aboi said promised that he would not indulge in antisocial activities in future.
�If I repeat the same mistake, my brother who has bailed me out would be in trouble�, he said.
