There are many poems written in the rhyme scheme of English sonnet. The rhyme scheme runs a b a b. Such poems contain 14 lines having ten syllables each. A sense of modernism is inherent in most of the poems featured in the book. In the poem Matamgi Bus the poet expresses his feeling while seeing a lot of people rushing into an old bus. People's interest turns to the behaviour of the workmen or the crews but not to the nature of the machine or the engine. So the poet writes: |
