The term Vocational Educational may be popular amongst us. We could see sign boards and advertisements related free vocational courses or similar things around us. Vocational education is education within vocational schools which prepares people for a specific trade. It directly develops expertise in techniques related to technology, skill and scientific technique to span all aspects of the trade.
It can be part of regular education or in many cases we could see these courses are chosen by young people who look for jobs and employment. Central Board of Secondary Education is also offering nearly 40 vocational courses in different sectors at senior secondary level in collaboration with professional organisations. There are agencies like National Council for Vocational Training which also imparts training directly or indirectly in collaboration with other institutes.
Vocational courses are important but we must plan before we take various courses. We should not randomly go and get admitted as some are free or one need to pay minimal cost as these curses are sponsored by state or central government . Aspirants may visit this website for various courses http://freetraining.in/Courses.html.
One of the Google survey has revealed that IT and vocational courses got a maximum hits at 44% and job placement has been the top criteria for selecting a particular course of institute.
Also, a separate study revealed that there has been a 20% increase in students aspiring to join vocational courses. Joining vocational courses is important provided we choose the courses with planning to build our strong future. Aspirants may visit NCVT’s website at www.ncvt.in. There are courses which are for regular students but NCVT mostly conducts programme for young people who could not attend higher education for many challenges.
