Pebet's Avenge to the Wild Elephant
Once upon a time, a Pebet had a nest in the bushes with her chicks. She had hatches a few more eggs and were living peacefully.
One day, a herd of elephant were coming towards their nest. As they were approaching near to the nest, the chicks told their mother, "Mother they are reaching near, please talked to the leader of the herd to take another route or else we will die crushed by them".
So the Pebet mother requested the leader, "Oh leader of the herd, please avoid these route as I have a nest with my chicks and eggs".
The herd listens to the mother and took an alternative route.
The last one of them was a high headed, irresponsible who doesn't have any respect for others because of his size told Pebet, "Hey you little Pebet, why should I listen to your plea? Why have you nested on the road?" and with his huge foot crushed the chicks and the eggs and went away.
The Pebet flew around repenting on the dead of her chicks and the eggs. She called out to the wild elephant, "You didn't respect us for we are small, I will now prove what the small beings can do to you".
Saying this she took a vow to avenge the dead ones. However, the elephant didn't pay any heed on her.
As the day passes, she started taking avenge. She sat on the elephant's back and started poking enough to allow her friends the flies to lay maggots inside the skin.
After a few days, the infection killed the elephant. Satisfied with her avenge, she flew away.
We should respect everyone regardless of what they are.
Even the big elephant was easily defeated by the small Pebet.
