5 good things about Manipur which is really good news for nature lovers and environment activists/journalists

I request all green-entrepreneurs to please support this state by executing various green energy projects, especially micro to macro hydel power projects, solar and wind energy projects as the population there reels from severe power-cuts.I was there between 1993-1996 and also would like to share 5 good things about this state which is really good news for nature lovers and environment activists/journalists.
- Loktak Lake is the largest freshwater lake in North- Eastern India, also called the only Floating lake in the world due to the floating phumdis(heterogeneous mass of vegetation, soil, and organic matters at various stages of decomposition) on it. It is located near Moirang in Manipur state, India..Would like to know more and visit???? Then go to here
- Admired for its beautiful Shiroi Lily(Lilium mackleanae Sealy), Ukhrul is an arresting district of Manipur. Shiroi Lily is found on the peak of Shirui Kashong which is located at a distance of 18 km east of the district headquarters. This rare and world famous flower was discovered by Frank Kingdon Ward in 1946 when he came to Manipur Hills for botanical collection on behalf of the New York Botanical Garden. This unique lily has seven colours when viewed trough a microscope..Sounds interesting!! Please join here
