Free Health Camp conducted at Children Home, Deulaland, Imphal

A One-Day Free Health Camp was conducted at the Children Home, Deulaland, Imphal by the Human Resource Development Academy Alumni( HRDA Alumni 2003 batch) on Sunday, the 19th of June 2011.
The camp was conducted with the aim of providing basic healthcare to the children of the home as well as to educate them about the importance of a heathy mind and body. Medical Check-up and Dental Check-up were done and free medications were distributed to the children.
Educational talks were given to the Children about First Aids, Oral Hygeine, Preservation of the Environment,Guides for Proper Studying and Right to Education. A luncheon was also arranged for the children.
Wall Clocks, Sports Items and Emergency Lamps were also presented to the inmates of the children home.Fun games were also conducted for the children and prizes were given for the winners.
HRDA Alumni was formed by a group of friends from the batch of 2003 passed out with the intention of reuniting old frens of school days which has scattered all around the globe in making their career.
The aim is not just to have a casual reunion but to come together so as to give back something in return to the society and to our alma mater.
This Health Camp is just a small beginning and as the saying goes 'A journey of thousand miles starts with a single step' and the HRDA Alumni has taken its first step!!!
