One of the challenging periods in our academic life is after appearing class XII finals as we need to appear in different entrances for admissions in to different courses or institutes.

Most of the leading institt6es select students on the basis of entrance conducted by one particular institute or jointly by different institutes. In today’s edition we are publishing information related to few such entrance tests which are going to be held soon.

NATA: National Aptitude Test in Architecture, 2020 (NATA- 2020) for admission into 1st year of 5-year B.Arch. Degree course at various Institutions in India for the academic session 2020-2021 shall be conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) as one-day examination all over the country on 19th April .

NATA is being conducted by the Council of Architecture, being the competent & final authority for the purpose of fixing norms and standards for architectural institutions and having the necessary expertise to hold a Common Aptitude Test in Architecture, at national level to provide a single window system for appearing in aptitude test and to facilitate institutions, students and public at large for admission to First year of 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all recognized Institutions all over country.

The last date for applying online is 16th March.

Hotel Managemnt: National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination 2020 (NCHM JEE- 2020) is now (from 2020 onwards) conducted by NTA . NCHM JEE is a CBT mode for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration across the Country.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Society Registration Act 1860 for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions. Exam would be held on 25th April and the last date for filling form is 20th March.

AIFD: The Computer Based Test (CBT) 2020 for admission to the UG Course offered by the Army Institute of Fashion and Design Bangalore will be held on 9th May 2020 1430 to 1730 hrs at notified examination centres. Aspirants may apply before 31st March.

CLAT: Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a non-statutory body created under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country.

An entrance test is conducted to provide a list of candidates on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference’ to each University for admission to their Under-Graduate (UG)/ Post-Graduate (PG) programmes, as per the eligibility, reservation and other criteria laid down under the respective statutes of the participating Universities.

CLAT is an all India common entrance examination, conducted on rotational basis by 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their UG and PG degree programmes. There are 19 participating NLUs for which students needs to crack the exam for admissions. Test would be held on 10th May and last date for filling forms is 31st March.

JNUEE: Admissions in to various courses at Jawaharlal Nehru University will be held in between 11th to 14th April and students may apply according to their subject and qualification by 31st March.

Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program: The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) invites applications for Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2020-21 from full-time senior secondary school teachers in India.

The Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) program is a 6-week non-degree, non-credit academic program that will take place at a US university.

The selected participants will travel to the United States for the program that will be beneficial for their professional development and will receive multiple benefits. Last date is 16th March.
