Decision, destination & direction

Decision–a word that’s avoided yet coined for all forms of life on the planet earth. “Ah! I have made a wrong decision,” commonest statement in the market. Take it–no decisions are bad decisions, it’s all about if you are up for the consequences or not.

Again the bubble is about decisions being taken by emotions or pragmatic decision making. Wait ! Is it for the good of both ? Maybe.

Dear friend stagnancy, he loves people with no decisions. That’s why I say–it’s better to take a decision that you think was bad and has made you face a lot of consequences rather than to get stuck and just not move.

A decision that causes a lot of pain in you can only be faced by another good decision. So, good or bad, keep making decisions for you will keep moving, as life is all about the distance you covered not the displacement–keep moving.

Dear friends what if, he loves to play with the lives of those who define life with safe matches. So, he is the one you meet before all the decisions you make in life. What if he makes fun of me, what if she thinks I am stupid, all these things that you think that the other think is what’s killing your decision making power.

Little advice ? Trust me–try hating someone, bad mouthing someone and see if that affects them. If it does, then why ? And if it doesn’t, then why ? Most will not even give a damn about what you think unless it benefits them.

And to those who you can affect, all they did was, they gave a little more attention to you, so you got their remote. So, if what people think about you should not affect you, then stop giving your attention. I guess there lies the birth of more decisions.

When we make decisions we assume that this is a forecasted destination. However, in reality decisions are no more than directions towards the intended destination. Even if, sometimes we might make wrong decisions, accept it as a little detour to our final destinations.

When our focus is laser sharp for what we want to match with a humble ambitious plan and good intentions, any decision is not a wrong decision.

Personally, all of us have been modified through environment, society, genetics, race, gender & circumstances, but the fact of life remains as we have to keep moving. Be it good circumstances, the reality is that it will not last forever and if you are in a bad situation it does last forever too. But the decision to move lies in taking decisions.

Honestly, if you are not in the present moment and always thinking about the future or your past, you are even hardly living because years later you are going to regret the moments which were with you. And you let them go because of your inability to be self-aware, self-disciplined, and living in the present moment.

The onus of the direction and the destination of your life remains solely on you. And you have a chance every moment to take it in the way you want it to be.
