The State unit of Aam Aadmi Party, started by social activist Arvind Kejriwal, would soon be floated, said member of the National Executive Committee of AAP, Habung Payeng, who is also the party in-charge of NE India. Addressing a press meet today at Manipur Press Club, Habung Payeng said the party would debut in the ensuing Parliamentary election.
Habung Payeng, a journalist and former State Information Commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh said he is touring the NE States in his attempt to organise and mobilise the party.
The party, which strongly believed in Swaraj (self-rule), would also emphasis on power decentralisation, he said. In order to check corruption, the system should be changed first. As such, decentralisation is a necessity, Habung said.
AAP would also be involved in State issue, and it would relentlessly commit to work for the common issue of North East, Payeng said adding the party would work in such style that it becomes exemplary for other political parties.
