The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET-2008) for admission to Under-Graduate courses, i.e. MBBS and BDS will be held on 18th May, 2008 (Sunday) at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form.

DUMET 2008 Exam date: Sunday, 18th May, 2008
How to Apply for DUMET 2008?
The application form along with Bulletin of Information (BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building , University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of 'Registrar, University of Delhi' payable at Delhi, in the following manner:

By hand for Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) between 10.00 A.M. to 3.00 P.M. on all working days from 27th February, 2008 to 3rd April, 2008.
By post for Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only) along with a self addressed envelope of 10"x8"
The application form along with BOI can also be obtained, by hand only, from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences.
Educational Qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course: The candidates must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi . The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11 th and 12 th classes regularly from a recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Female candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC)/Schedule Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows & Wives of Armed & Para Military Personnel (CWWAPP) category who have passed qualifying examination from Indian Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College. The condition of studying 11 th and 12 th class from a school situated with the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates.
Applications duly filled in and complete in all respect, should reach to the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6 th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi , Delhi- 110007 on or before 3rd April, 2008 upto 05:30 P.M.
Notes:
- The last date for receipt of request for supply of the application form along with BOI by POST is 17th March, 2008
- The candidate should mention his/ her name and address at the back of the Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque. The candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque.
- Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
