Imphal, August 04: Expressing pride over selection of three players from Manipur to participate in Beijing Olympics in addition to two officials, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Nongthombam Biren has conveyed best wishes to all the State players participating in the world's biggest sporting event.

The Minister also prayed that L Bombayla (Archery), Kh Tombi (Judo) and L Monika(Weightlifting) may perform to their best and bring back laurels.

The officials participating in Beijing Olympics are Boxing manager Khoibi Salam and Judo coach Kh Gunamani.

The Manipur Forward Youth Front (MAFYF) has extended best wishes to the three players that they may do Manipur proud at Beijing.

The Public Club, Khura Top Khongnang Makhong has prayed to the Almighty that the three State girls competing in Beijing Olympics may come home with success stories and medals.
