Imphal, July 30 2009: A bullet projectile embedded in the left wrist of Golmei Mangal has been removed through the palm after a minor operation at RIMS today.

Golmei Mangal was among the five people who sustained bullet injuries during the July 23 shoot-out at BT Road.

However, family members were not allowed to see the projectile removed from Golmei saying that it was a medico-legal case.
