Imphal, February 26: During his recent visit to Bunglon village in Churachandpur district, social activist Amrik Singh Pahwa stressed on the need to bring about communal harmony between the hill and the valley people in the true spirit of brotherhood.

Addressing a reception function, he said 'we are all Manipuris living in Manipur even if we belong to different communities like Tangkhul, Kuki, Chiru, Hmar, Sikh, etc'.

We should all work for a new Manipur where there is progress in every field like in other States of India, he exhorted the gathering, adding that the beautiful land of Manipur has been spoiled due to lack of proper initiatives by one and all.Along with distributing masks to the people, Pahwa also donated Rs 1000 to the cultural troupe of Bunglon High School, which presented a colourful dance at the occasion.
