Imphal, August 12 2009: Working Committee of the Apunba Lup has strongly condemned the police action in foiling the rally taken out by womenfolk at Keithelmanbi while also appealing the people to continue support to the Apunba Lup.

A statement issued by the WCAL stated that since O Ibobi took charge as Chief Minister seven years ago, the number of militant groups of the state increases to over 40 while charging him of responsible for raising militants in the state.

The WCAl statement also pledged to continue its agitations till the demands are fulfilled.
