Imphal, October 16 2009: A meeting of the committee comprising representatives of the Senior Citizens, education officials, teachers associations, guardian organisation, private schools etc.

today called upon the agitating students to come forward with their written demands and also urged the government to create a conducive environment and also enter into dialogue immediately with the students.

The meeting also decided to entrust the task of engaging the agitating students to facilitate talks with appropriate authorities in suppression of its earlier resolution taken on October 5 last four persons.

They are Ch Rita, secretary FECTA, H Rajendra, president AMGOCTA and M Joykumar, secretary AMGHSLW Association.
