Imphal, July 30 2009: A man who has been struggling for life after severely injured when a motorcycle knocked down him at Sega Road Thouda Babhok Leikai succumbed to his injuries at Shija Hospital where he was treated today.

The man identified as Khundrakpam Bihari (72) of Keishamthong Hodam Leirak sustained injury when he was knocked by the motorcycle (MN04-6762) yesterday evening.

On the other hand, the dead body of a man retrieved by the police from the Imphal-Pangei road on July 25 after apparently knocked down by vehicle has been disposed by Imphal municipality authority as unclaimed body.
