Imphal, August 04: Kha Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup, Moreh today organised a sit-in-protest at Ima Keithel of Moreh town.

Meitei Council Moreh and AMSU Chandel district committee also supported the protest which was taken part by around 1500 people.

Volunteers of Muslim Women Development Association, village chiefs, students and representatives of various communities of the border town took part in the protest holding placards that read, 'Save students life', 'Don't make child soldier', 'Stop kidnapping children', and 'We want peace'.
