Imphal, June 04 2010: The stock position of petroleum products in Manipur as on June 4 are respectively Petrol/MS 320 KL, Diesel/HSD-1223 KL and LPG-20MT (after released of 165 MT to LPG agencies on June 3, according to a statement released at the Chief Minister's press conference today.

On the other hand, the stock position of food-grains and Sugar as on June 4 is 7132 MT of rice and 385 MT of Sugar in CAF &PD godown, Sangaiprou while 353 MT of Wheat in FCI godown, Imphal.

Meanwhile, the number of oil tankers/LPG bullets/FCI & CAF & PD trucks and others stranded at Jiribam as on June 4 is said to be 35 oil tankers, 30 LPG bullets, 50 rice trucks, 5 sugar trucks, 150 fertilisers trucks, 200 cement trucks and other 150 trucks.

However, with regard to rice trucks, president of Manipur Truck Owners Welfare Association H Ranjit has asserted that the number of stranded rice trucks at Jiribam is only 17 and not 50 .
