Imphal, May 19 2010: The suspected NSCN (IM) cadre reportedly died in a failed attempt to blow up Kangpokpi bridge on NH-39 has been claimed by family today.

The youth, died in the intervening night of May 17 and 18, has been identified as Dony alias Momo Monsang (26) of Liwa Sarei of Chandel district.

The body has been handed over to his family after conducting post-mortem examination at RIMS morgue today.

He is survived by his wife and two children.

According to family members, Momo went out from his house on May 2 .
