Imphal, August 17 2009: The Nongchup Imphal Meira Paibee Apunba Lup (NIMPAL) has observed that post the Khwairamband incident there has been no encounter killing.

This shows that the killings have been unleashed by Chief Minister, Commandos and Security forces.

A statement issued by the general secretary of NIMPAL, H Binarani pledged to extend support to the agitation launched by the Apunba Lup.
