Imphal, May 22 2010: Suspected economic blockade supporters caused substantial damages to passenger carriers near Tamenglong district's Noney police outpost last night.

An informed source said two Tata Wingers and one Tata Sumo carrying passengers coming towards Imphal crossed Noney Keithel (bazar) along the NH-53 when about 7/8 unidentified persons in a Maruti Gypsy chased and stopped the vehicles near at Noney police outpost at around 9 pm.
