Imphal, August 05 2009: Maintaining that imposition of indefinite curfew at Imphal East and West districts gives inconvenience to the general public, All India Students' Federation (AISF), Manipur State Council demanded its immediate lifting.

The students' body asserted that the right step to contain the situation would be to give punishment to the involved commando personnel.
