Imphal, October 18 2009: Effigies of the chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and MLA O Landhoni Devi, who is the wife of the CM, were burnt by activists of Moreh unit of the apunba Lup at the border town today.

The effigies were burnt as a part of the ongoing public movement against the July 23 BT Road firing by police commandos during which Th Rabina Devi and Ch Sanjit were slain besides inflicting bullet wounds to five civilians.
