Imphal, June 25 2010: Referring to the press release published under the heading "Bodies appeal to all for sanity" published on June 22/23, the All Manipur Christian Organisation (AMCO) has clarified that the press release was purely the view of the AMCO after collecting various views of all participants of the June 21 meeting with the motive to usher in lasting peace in the land.

However, the press release did not convey that there was a unanimous resolution of the participating organisations, the AMCO clarified in a press release.
