Imphal, July 29 2009: The last rites of Amit Saha (35), a migrant worker, who was shot dead by unidentified armed persons at Tera Moirang Hanuba Leirak here yesterday morning was performed today.

Hailed from Buxar district of Bihar, Amit was staying in a rented house at Ragailong, Imphal and worked as a peddler selling spices and other consum able items.

The post-mortem of the body of Amit was conducted at RIMS today and handed over to his family members who performed the last rites.
