Imphal, November 20 2009: The inquiry commission headed by retired Justice PG Aggarwal, set up to probe the Khwairamband shot-out incident on July 23, has been extended till December 31, according sources quoting an order issued by the state government to this effect.

The two-month period fixed earlier for the completion of the probe by the commission has expired on October 27 last.

The period has been extended till December 31 .
