Imphal, June 17: Deputy Commissioner of Chandel Nobert Disinang distributed ex-gratia amount of Rs 1 lakh each to the seven deceased victims' families of Moreh who died in separate violent incidents on June 3 and June 9 at Moreh.

The ex-gratia amounts were distributed to the families of Yumnam Roshan (24) s/o Y Ibobi, Chingakham Mani (36) s/o late Motona, Doumang Haokip (30) s/o Ngulkhai Haokip, Tongkhulun Sitlhou (17), Hemjang Lhungdim (30), Lungkholal Haokip (19) s/o Yamkhopao Haokip and Lunkhomang Misao (25) s/o Haokam Misao.

It may be recalled here that Yumnam Roshan was shot dead on June 3 while the other six were killed in a spate of violence on June 9.
