Imphal, September 07: Bomb experts of the Police Department safely exploded a Lathode shell, which was found from inside the residential compound of a house at Kwakeithel Thokchom Leikai, after taking it to a paddy field at Ningombam crossing near Airport at around 2.30 pm today.

The bomb was found inside the residential compound of one Laishram Deban in the morning today.

According to police, Deban is the owner of a store selling iron rods for building construction.
