Imphal, October 03 2009: Extending solidarity to the people's movement being spearheaded by the Apunba Lup against the July 23 Khwairamband killings, the Indo-Myanmar Road Tata Magic and Winger Joint Co-operative Society has decided to suspend passenger transport service tomorrow (October 4) .

In a similar gesture, the Tidim Road Motor Owners' Co-operative Society Limited informed that all passenger buses affiliated to the society would stay off the roads on October 5 .

Showing solidarity to the mass movement being undertaken under the stewardship of the Apunba Lup, the Tidim Road Educated Self-Employed Jeep Taxi and Transport Co-operative Society Limited has also decided to suspend transport service on October 5 .
