Imphal, August 23 2009: Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) has charged that India Reserve Battalion (IRB) has become disreputable forces in the state while advising the government to ban immediately.

A statement issued by the information and publicity secretary of MSF, L Umakanta Meitei has pointed out that personnel of the IRB have involved in several cases of crime and terrorised the people.

It also charged that the personnel have lacked ethics as well as 'nationalism'.

The statement demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Minister Ibobi from his post for failing to control the IRB and other security personnel.
