Imphal, August 07 2009: The JAC against the brutal killing of Thokchom Rabina has today charged the Chief Minister of maintaining double-standard, who tried to calm the peoples' movement for justice by staging make-believe drama.

A statement issued by the convenor of the JAC, Mary stated that the suspension of some policemen and the imposition of curfew will not appease the public.

It also demanded the immediate and unconditional release of the Apunba Lup leaders and the lifting of the curfew.

It also conveyed that the family members and the JAC have decided to defer the 'Shradha' ceremony of Rabina till justice is done.
