Imphal, August 27 2009: Sit-in-protest continued today as a part of the agitation launched by Apunba Lup in the state against the Khwairamband fake encounter incident on July 23 .

Sit-in-protest was staged at Lizard Library Club, Wangkhei Meihoubam Lampak by Meira Paibee members of the area.

Placards demanding the resignation of CM O Ibobi from his post and punishment against the guilty police commandos involved in the Khwairamband incident were displayed.

A protestor voiced that the CM should resign if he cannot deliver justice.

At Khurai Lamlong Bazar, demonstrators have burned effigies of CM O Ibobi and his wife and MLA, Landhoni today around noon.
