Imphal, February 20: All India Christian Council, Manipur (AICC-M) and All Manipur Christian Organisation (AMCO) today appealed to the abductors of Moheni Maritin and Hriini Hubert for their safe release on humanitarian ground.

A joint statement of AICC-M and AMCO expressed shock and anguish over the inhuman manner in which the two students have been abducted and kept in detention eversince.

�Kidnapping and subsequent undue incarceration of such tender and naive children just for the sake of quenching one�s greed is really unfortunate�, it stated.

While appealing to the kidnappers to come out with the truth and tell the world whether the two captive children are still alive or death, the two organisations also expressed unhappiness over thr alleged indifferent attitude of the State Government on the issue.
