Imphal, May 18, 2010: Apunba Kanglei Sinnaibi Lup (AKSIL) has appealed people of all communities to stand together against communal forces and bring harmony in the State.

Saying that hill and valley people have been living together peacefully since time immemorial, a press release issued by its general secretary said that people of the State must take a firm stand against those 'outside' forces which spew venom to break the age-old fraternal relationship.

AKSIL urged hill people especially Nagas not to be carried away with the ideas of self styled leaders at this crucial juncture.

AKSIL also urged the higher echelons of the Government and NGOs to try its best in bringing tranquillity and harmony in the State.
