Imphal, October 01 2009: Passenger service on the Mayai Lambi road will be suspended on October 3 to register a strong protest against July 23 shooting incident and extending support to the agitations of the people, stated the Mayang Imphal Road Motor Transport Co-operative Society Limited signed by its secretary N Joy today.

On this day, passenger services under the Mayang Imphal Road Motor Transport Co-operative Society Limited and Mayai Lambi and Chingphu Road Mini and Motor Bus Transport Co-operative Society will be suspended, the statement added.
