Imphal, May 29 2010: Now it is the turn of the rickshaw wallahs in Manipur against NSCN-IM general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah's proposed visit to Manipur.

Around one thousand of rickshaw pullers took out a rally in Imphal on Saturday demanding to lift blockade along the national highways and against the proposed visit of Th.Muivah to the state.

The rickshaw pullers under the aegis of All Manipur Rickshaw Association organized a rally which started from THAU Ground and converged at Hatta Kangjeipung, Palace compound in Imphal.

In the meantime, some women folk took out a rally to submit a memorandum to the chief minister against the proposed visit of Th.Muivah to Manipur but they were prevented from doing so by the police today.
