Imphal, January 22 2010: The State Government has handed over the FIR registered at City police station in connection with the killing of Chungkham Sanjit on July 23 at BT Road to the CBI.

Along with transfer of the FIR, all articles seized by City Police in connection with the BT Road killing have been handed over to the CBI.

A special investigation team of the CBI led by one IGP cum Joint Director has been investigating into the controversial incident.

The team has already conducted spot enquiry of the areas where Rabina and Sanjit were killed.
