Imphal, December 21: The proscribed UNLF has claimed that at least five security personnel were killed while many others were injured in a shoot out with MPA cadres at Tuileng near Molcham to-day at about 1.15 pm.

The MPA cadres used rockets and sophisticated weapons in the shoot out, said the outfit and added that one MPA cadre suffered minor injuries on the hand.

A fierce gun fight is also on at S Bongjoi near Layang.
