Imphal, May 21 2010: The tangkhul Action Commitee (TAC), Ukhrul has announced that in view of the proposed visit of Th Muivah, all government offices and institutions except medical department, PHED, Power, media, schools and colleges will remain closed with immediate effect until further notice.

Media in Charge, Tennoson Pheiray today informed that no other VVIP or VIP, whosoever he/she may be, from anywhere shall not be welcomed in Ukhrul until Muivah visits the "South Nagaland".

Meanwhile, Union Home Secretary, GK Pillai's visit to Ukhrul to attend the Shirui Lily Golden Jubillee celebrations today had been cancelled according to the wishes of the Tangkhul community, Pheiray informed.

Any person who does not comply with the "proclamation" of the TAC should bear the responsibility for any consequences that may arise thereof, he said.
