Imphal, August 07 2009: Union Home Minister P Chidam-baram has today asked the State Chief Minister for an update on the overall situation in the State, arising out of the agitation launched following the killing of Sanjit and Rabina by police commandos on July 23 at BT Road.

A well placed sourced informed that the Union Home Minister asked the Chief Minister for a detailed report on the situation in the State today evening.
