Imphal, January 13: Demanding issuance of party ticket in his favour, supporters of Maibam Bijoykumar of Nambol A/C demonstrated inside the residential compound of MPP president Dr Chandramani at around 7.15 pm today.

Supporters of Bijoykumar have been organising sit-in-protest over the same demand near the gate of the party office since yesterday.

From the party office, the protestors boarded vehicles and went directly to the residence of Dr Chandramani at Patsoi and staged the demonstration right inside his residential compound.

Dr Chandramani was not present at home when the demonstration was held.

Dr Chandramani was out to attend a meeting but the agitators insisted to remain until a definite response was received from the MPP chief in connection with issuing ticket to Bijoykumar.
