Imphal, January 07: In reaction to the alleged deliberate inaction on the part of the SPF Government led by Chief Minister O Ibobi towards the ceasefire pact between Kuki underground outfits and Central security forces which came into force from August last year, the Kuki Liberation Army Ghq Zion camp has banned all election related activities of the political parties of the SPF Ministry.

A statement issued by the Central Information and Publicity of KLA, Malsawm Vaiphei asserted that the State Govt rejected even the request of the army authority to endorse the ceasefire pact while alleging that such indifferent attitude of the SPF Govt clearly exposes its the anti-Kuki as well as anti-peace stand. Cautioning that KLA would take up stern actions against any politician/candidate who has been a part of the SPF Govt defying the ban, it declared that the outfit would oppose any action which is detrimental to the interests of the Kukis.
