Imphal, June 18: Manipur Students� Association, Delhi (MSAD) today organised the 18 June observation day at Tagore hall, University of Manipur where the congregation pledged to protect the unity and integrity of Manipur.

Floral tributes was paid to all the 18 martyrs and it was followed by 2 minutes silence observation.

Many MSAD volunteers were also on fast for the whole day as a tribute to the martyrs.

The observation maintained that there is the need to understand the position taken by various communities in Manipur for a new Manipur where peace and integrity shall remain intact.

Among the participants in the observation function are general secretary of Kuki Students� Organisation, Delhi (KSOD) Thongmang Haokip, MLA L Biren and MLA M Hemanta.
