Imphal, January 15: A 38 member Sugnu Kendra Federal Committee of the Federal Party of Manipur (FPM) has been constituted with H Ihomcha of Thongam as president, Th Brajamani of KK Thingam Leikai, secretary and M Sanatomba of KK Hijam Leikai, treasurer today.

With the constitution of the Kendra Committee, the women's front and the youth front of the Kendra have also been formed.

S Memina and N Bina are the president and the secretary of the women's front while M Nabachandra and Kh Sarju are the president and the secretary of the youth front, a release said.

BJP Tamei appeal: The BJP Tamei Mandal president and the Youth Morcha's vice-president have appealed to all the BJP Tamei Mandal committee members not to resign from the party and urged them to support the party ticket holder in the 8th Manipur Assembly election, a statement said.

MSCP Youth: The postponed meeting of the Executive Committee of the Manipur State Congress Youth Front will be held at the MSCP office at Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal on January 18 at 10.30 am, a statement said.

In the meantime, another MSCP member Ngangham Babudhon, ex-district president, Imphal East has also resigned from the party in protest against the functioning of the party, another statement said.
