Imphal, November 30 2009: After the dialogue between the State Government and civil organisations agitating against the July 23 twin killings had broken down after the first round of talk, a Ministerial team met some leaders of the Apunba Lup today.

The Ministerial team included Works Minister K Ranjit, IFC Minister N Biren, Education Minister L Jayantakumar and PDA Chairman Dr Kh Loken.

The meeting which lasted for almost an hour discussed the prevailing situation arising out of prolonged class boycott as well as the demands of the Lup.

It is said that the two sides are favourably poised to sit for another round of talk on or before December 2 .
