NSCN, PREPAK, NGOs condemn kidnapping

Imphal, November 06: Joining in the chorus of protest against the kidnapping of Lungnila Elizabeth, the Govt of the People's Republic of Nagaland, Shepoumaramth Region has strongly condemned the kidnapping of the young girl by unidentified gunmen.

In a statement, chairman of the Shepoumaramth Region termed the kidnapping as an act of cowardice which should be condemned by all right thinking citizens.

Appealing to the abductors to identify themselves and also to spell out the reasons for kidnapping the young innocent girl, the statement said that the organization will take up appropriate actions if the kidnappers do not come clean.

The proscribed PREPAK while condemning the kidnapping of Elizabeth has also appealed to the kidnappers to release her unharmed on humanitarian ground as she is not involved in any wrong doing related with her family or relatives.

The party also shared the pain and suffering of the parents during this trying time.
