Imphal, May 18: Poll personnel engaged in election duties for adjourned polls/repoll at eight polling stations of Jiribam and 13 within Vangai Range of Churachandpur district have reported today at Jiribam sub-division headquarters along with electronic voting machines.

Mention may be made that elections in these polling stations which fall within the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency were held yesterday.

With the completion of the election in Manipur counting of votes for the Outer seat will commence from May 19 at eight counting centres in Thoubal, Chandel, Tamenglong, Ukhrul, Senapati and Churachandpur district headquarters and at Kangpokpi and Jiribam centres.

In yesterday's polling voter turnout was recorded very low at Suwakhol polling station (40/29) with only eight voters exercising their franchise while polling stations of Vangai Range fared comparably better that the Jiribam sub-division polling figure.

The voter turnout in respective polling stations are as follows:
Jiribam: Chhotobekra - 266, Borbekra - 11, Suwakhol - 8, Jukuradhor (I-E/W) - 124, Jukuradhor (I-W/W) - 40, Jakuradhor II - 54 and Durgapur 16.
