Imphal, August 16: The two-day free medical camp jointly organized by League of Fourth World People, Kangleipak and Zeliangrong Welfare Committee concluded on August 14 with over 1384 registered and other non-registered persons being treated under expert supervision and provided medicines donated by several medical representatives and pharmacies.

Besides provision of three vehicles by Medical Directorate and Family Welfare Department, CO Lt Colonel AK Bhandhari of 183 Military Hospital of Leimakhong also donated medicines through Medical Store Officer-in-charge Major A Pareek for the camp.

JN Hospital specialist Dr I Chourajit (gynae), Dr S Raghumani (ENT), Dr Ranjit Singh (pediatrician), Dr Robinson Ningshen (pediatrician) and Dr Lokendro (dermatologist) and RIMS doctors Dr S Ranbir (physician) took part at the medical camp.

On the second day on August 14, the camp continued till late in the evening catering to the medical need of the villagers of Nungba HQ, Bolongdai and Rengpang villages.
