Imphal, April 16: Kuki National Front (KNF) has imposed a ban on the candidature of Holkhomang Haokip and Kim Gangte in the upcoming 14 th Lok Sabha polls.

In a statement, LH Stephen secy, information and publicity KNF, said that the decision was taken after Holkhomang Haokip failed to clarify on certain topics mentioned in his book "My activities in 13 Lok Sabha" while the ban was imposed on Kim Gangte because of her failure in fulfilling the aspirations of the people after being elected as the Outer constituency MP in the previous MP elections.

He also rued that both of them had failed to respond to the summon issued by KNF on April 14 for clarifying on certain sensitive matters.
